Malcolm X Watches

About the watches

The watch on the left is the one referred to in the below letters. The one on the right became an issue as a violation of thr order for me to not wear the watch. But it was actually a Swatch brand watch with the Roman numeral X (10).

The first signature belonged to an African American individual whom two white captains used as a representative to claim that someone of his race and culture supported their actions, which were perceived as discriminatory.

Carl McGill was compelled to sign the form under pressure and was told by the captain that it didn’t matter who was on the watch, even dismissively stating that he wouldn’t care if Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. were on the watch.
