Ten Point Plan

AAPOA 10-Point

The AAPOA created its 10-Point Plan to inform Los Angeles communities of its dedication to police reform and community. Additionally, the AAPOA provided a pathway for law enforcement mentorship by veteran police officers and their commitment to guiding new recruits in fostering professionalism, accountability, and community-focused policing. This mentorship program not only supported the career development of young officers but also reinforced the values of integrity and service within law enforcement. Through its initiatives, the AAPOA worked tirelessly to build trust between the police and the communities they served, advocating for policies and practices that emphasized fairness, transparency, and mutual respect. The 10-Point Plan and mentorship efforts remain a testament to the organization's enduring dedication to meaningful police reform and community collaboration.
